With the recent announcement that South Africa will host the 2026 World Life Saving Championships in Nelson Mandela Bay, I couldn’t help but notice something close to my heart in the press coverage — the Brand Logo I designed for Lifesaving Nelson Mandela Bay over 10 years ago is still in use today.
Back then, I created it using simple tools (Microsoft Publisher, if you can believe it!) but with a clear vision: to capture the spirit, resilience, and community of lifesaving in our region. Seeing it still representing an organization that’s about to welcome the world makes me incredibly proud.
For me, this is more than just a logo. It’s a reminder of the power of design to endure, to create identity, and to support organizations that make a real difference.
